Looking back in time...
...around 20 years ago...I was in the place of my beloved students...a med-school freshman so eager to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor. However, the first few weeks of anatomy study gave me a hard time that I have never experienced before. Remembering how it felt back then actually makes me laugh right now. Spending endless hours in studying terms and structures that were all new to me.
But at some point it all started making sense and school became fun again !!
Ten years later when I decided to specialize in teaching human anatomy to freshmen students, it became an obsession of mine to try to make ;what I like to call the "medical transition"; as mush easy for them as possible.
This website comes as another step in satisfying that obsession. A modern way to communicate and deliver whatever knowledge I may be blessed with to my students. I hope they find it useful.

Many medical schools go on with the study of anatomy without giving a background on the history of the discipline and its stages of development. A special page on the history of anatomy was designed to offer general knowledge to all those interested.
This section of the site provides lectures, presentations and e-books, exclusively to students of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine who have an access username and password. The contents are updated continuously to keep my dear students with the latest publications regarding their study of anatomy.
